Hi, I’m Keane.
KRD is just me.

A Gas Safe registered plumber and heating engineer based in Cardiff. KRD is a one-person business by design — when you ring, you get me; when I turn up, you get me; when there’s a question afterwards, you still get me.

I started KRD because I got tired of seeing customers treated like an inconvenience. A boiler breakdown is stressful enough without the engineer turning up late, muttering at the floor, and handing over a bill you can’t make sense of.

So I built KRD around the bits that usually go wrong. I turn up when I say I will. I explain what I’m doing and why. I write the price down before I start. And I don’t leave until you’re happy.

Most of my work is for homeowners and landlords across Cardiff and the Vale, plus a steady run of letting agents I look after for gas safety certificates. I’ll travel further for the right job — just ask.

    A proper explanation of what’s wrong, the options, and what each costs — before any work starts.

    Honest pricing.

    Written quotes, no “while I’m here” add-ons. If a job’s simpler than expected, the price comes down.

    Respect for your home.

    Boots off, dust sheets down, hoover round before I leave. You shouldn’t be cleaning up after me.

    Done when you’re happy.

    I check the work with you before I pack up. Anything not right, I sort it then — or come back at no extra cost.
